Heater Core Bypass: What is Hose size?

It's too hard to get to to check for sure, Steve, but the barb on the
plastic heater control valve I have as a spare is less that 1 mm smaller
than the OD on the flare of a 1/2" copper pipe elbow, so I'd guess you'd
want a 1/2" copper return elbow or whatever the U-shaped thingy (© techie
term) is called.
