Yes, early V8s have the Audi Delta (like those on the 1989-1991 Audi
100/200 models), and late V8s have the Gamma. The Delta systems uses
an RF remote control, the Gamma with Bose has built-in CD changer controls.

Actually the "Delta" you state here is really the "Delta CC". A totally
different radio than the "old" Delta. See my Audi radios web site for

And yes, you're right, the Delta CC is compatible only with the
Audi OEM changer made by Alpine, supporting a proprietary interface
for that radio only.
