I got myself into similar situation yesterday with my big black ticket
machine. $174 for going 52 in 35 zone. My "wonderful" all range 360 deg
talking Whistler didn't even beeped once. Nothing. The officer used instant
on of course. I guess you are right about "usefulness" of radar detectors. I
think I got lucky with this ticket because officer misspelled my name, I
don't think this ticket worth the paper it's written on.
