New intercooler plus fan = NO KNOCKING:)

Hey guys
I finished up the installation of the Dodge intercooler today, and boy am I
happy. I put it in front of the radiator with a bracket I put together. It
fits great! The boost lines are ABS plastic. They go from the turbo, outside
the car into the cavity in the bumper and back into the engine bay on the
radiator side. Then up into the intercooler, out the other side and bent
around into the N/A manifold. I'll take some pics because I know it's hard
to explain. It's amazing how cold the intercooler is, I ran it hard for 10
minutes with the fan on HI. I can get all my 8psi of boost without any
knocking. If the fan is not on I can get it to knock after 6psi if I'm not
moving fast. I am going to add a pusher fan on the intercooler so that I'm
not having to cool the whole radiator. I think I will raise the timing back
to 6° ATDC (currently at 3°) Anyway, If you have a POS 5kt intercooler, and
you are looking for a bit more go, upgrade it to something more useful.
I'll have some pics and some more about it sometime in the future. I'll
answer any questions too.
Mike
