Yes, you are right, but with turbocharging (and everything else too), where
you end up from a performace standpoint is about compromise-the goal becomes
getting to a point of equilibrium where different compromises lead to the
final result. Adding more IC volume will add to the pressure loss, but will
reduce intake air temps,which are currently unacceptable.
