Location - Fault activation??

Thanks for the suggestion.  

I know I have an early model Audi and I think it was brought up from California.  I have inserted the fuse in the FPR but have noticed no lights or codes on instrument panel??. The only check engine light I have seen on this car is one of the rotating idiot lights (sequential check of tires, oil, brakes etc.)

Suggestions?
