Tool 2070/1

I looked through the VW/Audi Special Tools Catalog and 
tool # 2070/1, Shock Support Tool, is a pair of triangle 
plates with a hole in each corner and a sleeve in the 
center.  They are used in conjunction with tool # 2070, 
Strut Spring Compressor, which is essentially a threaded 
rod with a free running nut and a T handle on top.  
Looks like they're used to compress the spring while 
mounted in the car.
