Interchangable alternators for 5k?

There is no free lunch brother!
I wouldn't call the Bosch alt. very expensive!

If you want more power it will cost you.............

The 90AMP alt. can be upgraded to 130AMP (to Ultranator) curtsey of you
friendly list member, me!

Or if you want to try and get "something for very little" you can buy a used
110AMP 200 alt. that will fit your car WITH it's original BRACKET.

Of course I can also upgrade the 110 to 150Amp Ultranator.

Which one would you like?

The OEM alt. on most of the Audis is rather "undersize" so any upgrade you
will do would help it out.

Take care,
Avi

Has anyone found any other vehicles that use the same/similar alternator as
the 5k/t/q? Just to see if there are lower prices by going to another
make/model of car. Also, I was more interested in finding a higher capacity
alternator through these means. Any btdt's? A different pulley is no
problem, so long as the oem pulley can be fitted.

TIA!
