You need to determine where the leak is coming from.  Visually inspect the
trunk seal and see if it's still soft, pliable and would make good contact
with the trunk lid, and that there are no cracks in the seal.
Dry everything up, put some paper towels around each of the tail lights
inside the trunk, close the trunk and then spray water with a hose around
that area.  If the paper towels are wet then you found you leak.  Also,
check the trunk lock seal and fuel filler seals too.

You need to check both the outer seal (on the doors themselves) and the inner
seal (around the opening for the doors).
