Well, seems to me that this only _under_ estimates the speed. Meaning that
if a car is traveling at 50mph, and the radar is off at an angle, the
readout will be less, say 45mph.

Not something you want to mention in court.

Stick with the fact that the gun was not designed to adjust for moving speed
and such.

Also that at 70 mph the car would not have stayed on the road. Go take
pictures of the area, and calculate approximate curve radius. Indicate your
tire traction and calculate g-forces at 70. State that, while you did not
know your exact speed, you for sure were not anywhere near the point at
which loss-of-traction occurs.

Keep in mind, that just as you were able to _observe_ that he was going
about 45mph, he could also observe your speed. Only he has years of
experience doing just that. And lastly, you _were_ speeding. He knew it,
and wrote you a ticket.

You'll definitely be able to bring it down. If it gets knocked down to 50 in
a 35, then for sure it will be 1 or 2 points only.

Good luck,
Jonas
