Fuel dist info needed

Subject is a 4 cyl Audi engined 924. Foolish mech called me - said he
had taken the fuel distributor apart and 8 check balls had come out -
didn't know how/where to put 'em back. Said 5 were one size, 3 were
another.
Anyone have a clue or an exploded diagram of either a 4 cyl CIS dist or
any Bosch CIS dist for that matter? I told him as an all else fails,
most any VW 4 cyl dist in that year range would probably interchange or
at least be diassembled for a reference.
