Scrubbing Rear in Tight Corners + Vibrations

Well ever since I put on the 225/40's on the 90q20v I've noticed that in
parking lots or other very tight corner situations at low speeds I get lots
of scrubbing noises from the rear. Makes quite a large amount of vibration
and noise. I figured this was normal with the wider tires, but I am just
looking for some confirmation. With the diff locked it make MUCH louder
scrubbing noises, tried this twice to confirm the diff wasn't staying locked
causing the noise and vibrations. Will these noises be louder with the
wider tires?

Also I still have that vibration at 6k rpm plus. I can't seem to find
the source, but new engine mounts did help a bit. I have new tranny mounts
but haven't found the time to install them yet. The driveshaft spins
smoothly and that center carrier bearing seems tight to me. I will do all
the mounts eventually and see if that kills the problem for good. Though
there is a vibration happening somewhere which worries me slightly. The
diff fluid level was about 1/3 down when it got checked some months back,
but I can't find any leaks. Hoping that rear diff is ok!

Thanks!
