brake lines

I put in the NON-DOT stainless lines from GPR parts.. I think the salesman
Dave was unsure which ones I needed, so he sent me 6 (4 required) for my 90
CQ. I had them put on before learning that you can get the stuff you use to
coat the handle on a metal set of pliers.. (never seen the stuff but I am
sure it exists)  After it was on it was of course too late, the lines had
been on for a few wet months and there was no doubt some grit in the S/S
braids.  I noticed a firmer pedal.. but thats not to say I liked it.. in
fact i liked the feel of the stock 160k mile old factory lines.. (not that I
trusted them too much)  If I were to do it again... and I would do the stock
lines.. Unless I was planning to track it often......
