200TQ rough running/stalling

Update:

I checked today. Hall sensor measured OK. I also checked the timing,
and the flywheel mark & cam gear mark/distributor did NOT line up.
Maybe the timing belt has jumped one tooth? That will explain the
running problems, but I don't understand how that can affect the
tachometer. Well, a 40k mile old timing belt done by dealer (previous
owner) jumps over, not good. I'll park the car and use my V8 instead
until January, when I get the chance to get to Germany and buy some
parts..
