[LAC] VWs with AWD?

    My guess is that the CVT won't trickle down until after the next
development of the A4.  That would be more consistent with the rate of
"trickle down" in VAG.  But if it does happen, I'd sure be interested to see
how it performs on a smaller car like the Golf or Jetta.

I think the new CVT transmission is to be available
with the quattro in that time frame. Given the public's
distate of manual transmissions, you may find the CVT is
the only option available then...  Of course, it would
have to trickle down. :-)
