Jim,

85 psi soundz way too low for an MC-2 even if engine
was not warm. For example my Mc-1 with 140K tested at
115 psi for the lowest individual reading with the
block cold.

Definitely need new rings on this baby. The
compression is so low that I would suspect other wear
as well such as pistons and maybe even excessive crank
wear. Did you ever see the engine run ?
