5ktq Chirp - Birds under the hood?

Is it then possible for there to be stumbling problems, failing the
dipstick test and annoying whirring/whining from the bell housing that is
seal related? Anyway to tell (short of dropping the tranny)? Trying to
see if I can make it until spring before having my TO bearing (or seal)
and clutch done.
