5ktq Chirp - Birds under the hood?

A rear main seal that leaks air usually makes a high-pitched squeal, Larry.
Pulling the dipstick breaks the crankcase vacuum and reduces or eliminates
the noise, as can engaging and releasing the clutch ( which moves the crank
in and out a bit). I don't know that the other problems you list can be
attributed to a leaking seal.
