S2 (3B) and 200 (MC) engine distributor drive gears...

Hi!

Can anyone tell me if the distributor drive gear from the 1989 Audi 200
(MC-1) engine will fit in place of the drive gear of the S2 (3B?)
engine?

I will checking tomorrow what it is, but I called a Audi/Porsche
dismantler today looking for S2/S4 injectors and they had someone on the
line who seems to have a bust drive gear on his S2 (or so he reckons as
the thing won't turn).

Any help will be appreciated.
