What a Mess, Adventures in Cleaning a 200q20v

My mother is a slob, forgive me mum. I have never had the pleasure of
attempting to clean such a rare $50k dumpster on wheels before. I have been
driving the 200 around for a few days doing all my errands so I decided that
when I was free I would do some serious cleaning of the interior. At first
glance it looked pretty straight forward, just like cleaning any other car,
but not this time around.

I found more stuck on goo, altoids, food wrappers, pens, money, receipts
stuck under the front seats than I ever would have imagined. When I removed
the rubber winter mats I found that the entire car has a high water line
from when mum flooded it in RI. I found huge unidentifiable stains all
around the cabin, doors, on top of seats. One stain is up at the front
passenger's side light and is chocolate brown. I found out it was from an
ice cream cone 2-3 years ago when a friend attempted to put a seatbelt on
with the ice cream cone in her hand, not the brightest friend heh mum? I've
gotta shampoo the entire car, though the trunk is actually very clean,
shouldn't that be the dirtiest part of the car?

Anyways, anyone have tips for cleaning carpets up in the interior? I
have some electrolux carpet shampoo for a rug machine and a brush at the
moment. Seems to work alright, but not 100%. Also what is the best way to
clean a headliner covered in 3 year old ice cream?$$!?

I'm thinking of taking the allroad away from mum unless she vows not to
destroy it:)

Merry Xmas!
