Don't forget the old trick - when pouring from a container without an air
vent, such as most five gallon cans, you need to keep the spout at the top
not the bottom to avoid the "glugging" which makes the mess.  I usually place
the transfer container on the edge of the work bench so I can keep the pour
spout close to the container.
