Heh, this is why I'd like to have a turbo-diesel or 2.5l TDi engine in a
type 44q ou even a type 85q...some mad guys in Germany already did such
conversions (2.5l 140 HP TDI engine in an '86 coupe quattro) but here in
Belgium this is simply illegal....the car hasn't been formerly homologated
with a diesel engine in it so I can't do anything about it (and I can even
go to jail if someone discovers that I did such a conversion)....I guess
when gas gets too expensive I'll move to Germany where I could do such a
conversion...:))))

The other idea that I have would be to buy an Audi 100 quattro with the
2.5l TDI engine, add a chip to have 180 HP and swap the gearbox with a
non-torsen one to have fun :))))
Regards,

Mihnea (who wants so bad to have a 2.5l TDI engine in the coupe quattro!!!)
