Pilkington makes OE windshields for Audi, so yours may be original.
I put a Pilkington on my S6 last summer and have not been impressed with its
durability WRT pitting. I've already picked up a couple of rock chips and
will probably replace it with a PPG windshield next spring. My glass guy
(Village GlassSmith, Wellesley, MA) is very good, and will work with me to
get a specific brand of windshield.
