UK Friends-16valve Audi 80 ?

UK Friends.
I was on a site today and saw that the '90 80 came in a 16 valve version in
the UK and Ireland. Was I seeing things? Can anyone tell me more about this
if it exists. I've got the 2.0L in my and ready for mods...nothing says it
has to go back in. I don't even know where to go for specs to see if it
would match up with US or not. Also I would enjoy the opportunity to see
what other pearls are available over there for the 2.0L that we may have
missed.
