I had a fine idle with this cam, and my mods were a 2.25" (actually,
I think it's 2.5") cat-back, and K&N panel filter. The timing was
advanced, and I had W7DTC plugs in it.

If anything I would say the cam didn't make a dramatic difference
for the $500 I paid for it. It did improve throttle response, revability,
and mid-range/top end power. I certainly didn't have any problems
starting or idling. It changed the exhaust pitch to make it a little
more "brappy" I think. It's been a while.

Later,
