Schrick 272 cam on Audiworld

No problem with Idle at all - even here in high altitude
Colorado. I've had one of these cams in my '87 4kq for several
years and I can't imagine life without it. With stock exhaust gas
mileage (highway) actually went up to 28-29 mpg VS the 27-28 I
constantly got from the day I drove the car off the showroom
floor. On a 4kq, there is no need for exhaust, or any other,
mods. In fact, it was only when I installed an urq (2.5" & low
back pressure muffler) exhaust that gas mileage went down and the
torque curve became erratic. Look for my review in the archives
search for "Schrick 272 camshaft review - Updated (long)" ...Yes,
I even included before and after comparison numbers.
