Coolant question

It's an old old thread, I know. And I've searched the archives for info,
but I'd like the "final" word, if there is one.
Car is 91 90q20v... I've got a bottle of Prestone 5/150 that claims to be
phosphate and silicate free and can be added to any coolant.
The turn-to-jello-and-make-your-car-bad problem is mixing Dex Cool with
regular antifreeze, right? Adding phosphates and silicates to a
non-phosphated and non-silicated system may add corrosion to the aluminum
radiators and fittings and possibly wasser pumps.
So, I think that logic says I can add this Phosphate stuff to my NON
Dexcool system and voila, be okay.
Thoughts?
