87 5ktq ... wierd brake problem

Hey gang,

Problem I'm having is this....

Ocasionally when starting the car in the morning, the brake pedal is VERY
hard, as if the hydralic pump wasnt working at all.  It does NOT happen
every day perhaps 1 day in 10.  After one hard application of the brakes,
the problem is gone and I experience no other symptoms other than the
Autocheck brake symbol coming on.  However, that also comes on prolly 1 day
every 3 after approx 30 seconds of running time.  I know my bomb needs to be
replaced as it doesnt last more than 7 or 8 pumps.  Is this problem related
to the bomb or is there something else going on?  Most everything else in
the brakes is new.  Rebuilt G-60's/new rotors,  New MC,  I'm on my 3rd
hydralic pump in a year though (all of them used however)  I have replaced
what o-rings were reachable while the pump was on the motor and have also
replaced the supply line from the pump to the steering rack.  I currently
dont have any noticeble hydralic or brake fluid loss.

Any ideas on this?  Is it the bomb?
