20v timing belt

My thought,
Its not worth the $100 not to do it. Once your in there its
easy to change. Would your like to have it fail 20k miles from
now. (probably wont but it could) only to have to be towed in,
and then pay him all the labor all over again to change the
water pump??? That gets him more business. :-) No really,
change it, its called preventative maint. It may go 100k miles.
May not. YOu change to belt every 60k miles. So even if it
goes 100k miles, thats still not long enough to get to the next
belt change. ITs just not worth the risk.
Also, what happens if it siezes and the belt breaks or skips.
Hmm, can you say 20 valves getting eaten for lunch by 5 pistons?
Bet your pocketbook would LOVE that one.
I think you get my point. :-)
Happy driving
   Todd
