85 CGT suddenly cutting out

My daughters CGT got her home tonight but barely.
It starts and idles, but with any throttle input it coughs, stumbles, and 
cuts out. Came on suddenly, with no other/previous signs of trouble.
I know the URQ pretty well by now, but can't switch hats quick enough to 
intuitively know what would be the usual suspects. HELP!

PS I know; check whether gas or electrical, but "usual suspects"?
