What "situation"? You're asking them to *guess* as to what you want them to
do.

First rule in consumer complaints: Know _exactly_ what you want, and ask for
it.

Will $250 get your pan pulled, and pump screen cleaned? Get your mechanic to
do that for a "diagnosis".

Or just drive the darn thing.
