<Stebro makes a great exhaust and i know the price of the 5ktq one is about
600$, not sure what the price would be for the 4k>
$600 or so..That is about right.
<< Are there any
good performance systems cheaper than that $800
scorpion system? Cops were too busy to show up and
write the guy a ticket, unfortunately, and the guy was
uninsured. He said he'd cover the repairs, but I
don't want to stiff him for an $800 system when the
existing one was only $300 at a muffler shop...>>
Since there was no accident report, you could have a hard time getting
anything out of him should he decide he doesn't want to pay you. I hope
that you have all his information, and he is honest.
Also, if he was driving a rented car, it is likely he would end up with the
same amount of raised rates on his insurance regardless of whether you filed
a claim or not. To the insurance company, an accident is an accident.
Perhaps he is going to eat the cost of the Rental company car as well, or
had taken additional coverage when he rented. I wonder how that works out.
I don't mean to seem critical, but sometimes it does not pay to be a nice
guy..BTDT.
Anyway, the Stebro is a good bet. If you are just getting the rear muffler
secton, it is more like $300.
