Gee, what a good idea!  Now, once upon a time I might consider taking off
the valve cover and looking, but these days the whole engine is covered with
plastic.. I don't even see the spark plugs!  (unless they've eliminated
THOSE too!!! :-)

Why not just take off the head and count the valves?
