A4 stereo

Hello all,

The other day when I was cleaning the trunk of my A4, I pulled up the mat to
vacuum and saw a round cover held in place with 4 screws.  It is approx. 32 cm
in diameter, and I'm wondering if it is supposed to hold a 32 cm subwoofer for
the Bose system.  Mine is the standard stereo, which would explain the cover...

Has anyone who has the standard stereo installed a 32 cm subwoofer here?  Where
did you put the amp?
