Hi Phil
Another list member wrote me to say that the OEM bearings on his
car were SKF, but that an Audi tech told him to get the German
made SKF, not the Italian ones.  I don't know which ones I've
been going through but I bet they're Italian.

Ok, now I get it, but mine doesn't have these, it has a nut which
goes on the axle stub.
Oh well, the car should be ready on Monday, hopefully this one
lasts longer, if not I'll definitely check for the German made
bearings.  Or maybe give SKF a call.

BTW, driving a Chevy Sprint loaner does make you appreciate our
cars much more.
