hard/no start 1990 200 TQA

    my '90 TQA seams to take longer cranking to start in warm or cold
weather than other non-turbo Audi's I have, but it has always started and
runs fine.  However,  now,  if the car has been driven and is warmed up, it
won't start,  may take 30 to 60 minuets before it will start. It cranks ok
but no signs of starting.  When it does start, no rough running, all seems
ok.
    I have looked into cylinder and at spark plug tip after letting car sit
for 30 minuets to check for fuel wetness from leaking injectors, did not
observe any.
    I will study SJM Diagnostics and Bentely but any suggestions will be
appreciated.
