road rage...my first experience tonite..

    A few months ago I was driving down to campus when I ran into a random
road rage incident.  Somebody pulled out of a side street in a Prelude VTEC
in front of me.  Nothing happened, no one hit anyone, no honking, no
flashing lights, no tailgating.  About a 1/4 miles down the road he started
to slow dramatically, then he  pulls over.  I stopped besides him to see if
he needed directions or anything of that sort.  He rolls down his window,
and I mine, then starts screaming, fu, ffuuu, ffuuck yooo, what the fuck are
you doing, flipping the bird with his short stubby fingers and just
screaming his head off.  Then he slams on the gas and peels out.  He goes
about 20 yards and slams on the brakes.  I pull next to him and just stare
in awe, I had no idea what I did that pissed him off so much.  He starts
swearing again, spitting, yelling some incoherent gibberish.  He reached
down beside himself and at that point I slammed on the gas to get out of
there as quickly as possible.  I have no idea what he was reaching for, but
I knew I needed to get out of that situation.  He didn't give chase, thank
god.  I was just so confused as to why he was so angry at me, that is why I
sort of froze.  The best thing to do have done was just leave, but I
couldn't, my mouth was on the floor.  Ever since then I've carried my
breaker bar in the back seat, hope I never have to use it.
