I for one laughed at Brett's reply!

Good Job Brett.

Nope, and it wasn't far off its mark. I was slightly annoyed, mostly
because it seems like AOL user after AOL user gets "stuck" on the
list and send nasties to the list; they practically use a form
letter, i'd swear.

The intention was to make it overly simplified(similar to, but in a
different flavor than, Unka Bart's methods) to the point of
absurdity, in an attempt at humor. Hey, what can I say, it flopped.

in the sense that it was the only reply to contain instructions,
yes...in the sense of a good example of end-user support, not really
:-)

I think you're being a little over the top on the complements, and I
didn't consider Scott's post all that negative...he had valid points.

I should remind people that I'm not the listmaster. Dan is. I just
lend a hand occasionally, and most, if not all of my posts, come from
the standpoint of a list member. My previous message was one such
"just a lister" message.
