RPM Sensor location

The sensor is located on the rad. side of the block, and gets its signal
from the teeth on the flywheel. There are two sensors that look identical,
and are in fact. One picks up a couple of pins in the rear(clutch-side) face
of the flywheel for the ign. reference points. The sensor you are interested
in will be the forward most sensor. You can grab these sensors off of any MC
equipped vehicle (and probably many others), I've gotten 4 of them for ~$5
total. For a quick field check the resistance across pins 1 and 3 (I think)
should be ~1k ohms.

Well, since these are what the sensor uses to get its signal...... why do
you ask?
