5K blower motor.

For the statistics:

My blower motor died approx. 1 and a half year after beginning
the "squeak-on-right-turns" noise in a puff of white smoke while
defrosting 2cm ice-rain residuals from my windscreen on New
Year's Eve.

[I have to mention that:
  - I had turned the motor 180 deg one month before to
    make it run at least on position 3 and 4 on the control

  - I had "oiled" the motor 3 months before through the
    breather opening to give me at least position 2 to 4.

  - since 4 months before, the safety overheat switch kicked in,
    when i tried to run the blower on position 1 longer than
    5 minutes

  - The car had no A/C btw.

After 2 weeks of driving w/o blower in the winter I decided to
replace that thing. And yes: it was possible to replace it
without removing the whole heater core. A year before, my father's
blower motor (same type of car) was replaced at the dealer after
six months of squeaking. 2days and "removal of heater core
necessary" they said - stupid, they were.
