Starter Probs

Are you _sure_ that's what's happening?  An engine spinning without
compression sounds much the same as an unengaged starter.  If the oil
pressure relief valve sticks, the lifters instantly pump up and kill
compression.  Just check the dash oil pressure gauge when it's
spinning.
