unlock the radio

Don't bother calling the dealer -- I've BTDT (more than once) -- I have a
tendency to make a mistake, and then the next time I make the same
mistake and I end up thinking... oops, seems I figured this out last
time, now why didn't I write that down?
Get out the Bentley, or when I get home I can get out my Bentley for you,
and look up the general code to unlock the radio. It's something stupid
like 0100, but you have to press a certain combination of buttons on the
radio and hold them down, or wait half an hour or something like that.
Unless I'm mixing up my cars (I have a 911, a Spider, and a Q car) you
DON'T need the specific code for your radio just to unlock the radio. You
just need to know the SPECIFIC WAY to unlock it, and you have to follow
the instructions to the letter (or else you get to wait another hour, or
something like that).
As you might be able to tell, I don't usually like to read directions....
(that's how I get myself in trouble all the time)
