Automatic trans needed '87 4000S

Thank you, this is exactly what I needed to know. I will continue
my search for a proper 4000S transmission but may do some
investigation into a Fox unit. It sounds like the 5 speed conversion
is more trouble than I care to take on, I just want a dependable
daily driver for commuting.
