4ks washer question.

it's actually easy to remove.  pull horn button, disconnect wire.  undo
big steering wheel nut (note wheel position for reassembly).  remove
wheel.  Now there are three small slotted head screws visible - these
hold in the two sections of the column switches.  I would recommend
pulling the switch and cleaning it - you can see the contacts - and, by
the way, if you're getting the 2 or 3 swipes and no washer, it's prolly
not the switch.  if no action at all, probably is.

reassemble with fingers crossed.  I never seen any permanently bad
switches in a type 85 column, but what do I know?
