Dale Earnhardt- RIP (NAC)

Thank you Taka for this post. While I am not a huge NASCAR fan (I follow
some favorites and attend/shoot a couple events per season) nor was I a
huge Earnhardt fan, I am deeply saddened by this loss which is very much
like the day the motorsports world lost Senna. I have a huge amount of
respect and admiration for Dale Jr. and truly feel for him, the entire
Earnhardt family, and also Mike Waltrip who finally got his first
Winston Cup win only to have his elation destroyed, his win tainted, due
to the loss of his friend and car owner who helped him get there
yesterday. A very sad day for the motorsports world regardless of one's
take on NASCAR, we are all very sad today. I too am still in shock and
had nightmares all night. This one hit me hard, but it seems like they
all do. 

A minor clarification. The Earnhardt #3 Corvette took 4th at the Rolex
24, not first, that was the team car.
