Mine was leaking by internally. Was not seized.

My master was slightly leaking externally... so I assume it had internal
leakage as well. Maybe caused by pressure buildup... more likely caused
by being 16 years old...

Interestingly, the local German wrench says he rarely replaced an Audi
master... usually low pedal is caused by the slave leaking internally.

ABSOLUTELY agree in theory... and in any car, not just Audi.
