Get a proper set (Hella, Cibie, Marchal, Bosch) and the Euro replacement
lamps are legitimate. In fact, they were normal Euro lights before aero
lights became popular. The lights in my GTi (7" round H4/5.75" round H1,
standard Euro GTi grille) are essentially these types of units, with a
different mechanical mounting. And the lights in my ex '84 4KQ (quad
rectangular) and my ex '75 Saab 99 (quad round) were exactly the type of
lights you speak of. Performance was the same in all cases (though I
thought (think?) the Hellas slightly outperform the Boschs I've had).
