5kcstq eurolight first impressions

I have two observations to this thread. Well, Three, the first
is obvious though.
1) Euro's Rule. They are unmatched by all factory lights
except the new HID's on Low beam only. (And of course, relays
are very necessary)
2) The Hella 4x6 H4's and H1's (the quad setup drop in
replacements people are speaking of in this thread) have a much
better beam pattern than the JC Whitney units. However, for $20
each with bulbs, if you have standard DOT units then the JC
Whitney units are a BIG improvement. Maybe %80 of they way to
where the Hellas are. (Thats a seat of the pants observation.)
3) THe euro's in the newer 4kq and 5ktq cars are VERY superior
to the Drop in Replacements. This is comparing Hella to Hella.
On High beam its not as noticable but on low beam my friends
Newer 4kq (with Aeros) has more light with 55w lows than mine
with 100w lows. Wiring is the same (I wired both cars), but his
are slightly better. I attribute this to the larger reflector
area on the newer 4kq and 5ktq cars. ANd a better beam pattern.
With 100w H4 lows, the 5ktq and 4kq aero's are way better. :-)
Light up the NIght guys
