Audi has apparently accounted for that in the Multitronic's electronic
controls.  The software monitor's your throttle application behavior
and adapts the transmission accordingly.  Moreover, the Multitronic
also has a separate shifter gate similar to the Tiptronic, where if you
switch to it, it emulates a clutchless 6-speed manual.
