ECU Fault Code test

Regarding the LEDs, Radio shack has them with the resistor already installed.

If you still have the "check engine light" in your dash then you are all set 
to go.  On my 2C, bulb was missing (or intentionally removed).  I replaced 
the bulb, permanently wired in a momentary switch and I can now check the 
fault codes anytime I want.  This system is great for impressing your 
passengers when you run your fault codes while sitting at a stoplight.
I also wired in a simple shut off switch into the fuse circuit so I can clear 
the fault codes without pulling the fuse.  The switch (which is hidden) also 
doubles as an antitheft switch.
